Aquila Trampoline Club

Aquila Trampolining

Aquila is a competitive Trampoline Club with a growing community of some 70+ members. We formed in 2002 and offer Trampoline to all ages, from 5 years to adult.

About Us

We are a competitive club and boast a wealth of coaching experience from level 1 assistant coach, to Level 5 High Performance Coach – something no other club in Swindon can offer! We encourage coaching mentoring programs and as a result, a number of our trampoline gymnasts are coaches themselves. Many of our coaches and officials are volunteers and we operate as a ‘not for profit’ organisation raising enough funds to purchase and maintain our own professional equipment with support from the school.

We provide classes for all levels of ability whether you’re completely new to trampoline gymnastics, or you compete at a National level. Members can start from age 5 and there is no upper age limit.

Class structure

Trampoline Gymnastics (which is just trampolining!)

Pricing Structure

British Gymnastics Membership

All members need to be registered with British Gymnastics (insurance for both club and competitions is included with the membership), which is £19 for recreational and £43 for competitive gymnasts, paid annually. This is currently the gymnast’s responsibility to renew each year. For more information on British Gymnastics membership, click HERE. If you train in another gymnastics discipline at a different club, you may already have BG membership. If your BG membership is held by another club, you must ensure it is maintained and renewed promptly to remain insured. Any questions, please just ask.

Club Fees

We are a ‘not for profit’ club, with many of our coaches supporting as volunteers. Our prices are based on 1 - 2-hour sessions at £7.00 per hour (£14.00 per two-hour session). Fees are charged on the 1st of every month via direct debit.

Competition Fees

Each competition fee is determined by the organisation running it. We will advise each gymnast entered for a competition what the cost of the entry is and add the associated charge to their weekly club fees via direct debit.

We offer a free trial

We want you to be sure Aquila is right for you, which is why we offer a free trial. Simply get in touch by email or using the contact form below and we’ll be in touch.

Coaches & Officials

Coaching is a skill in which qualified professionals enable others learn new skills. It’s about installing confidence and helping individuals to realise their own potential. In many respects, coaching is both an art, and a science. Aquila is lucky to have a fantastic team of coaches and officials that really care about the individual.

Ethics & Welfare

We take the welfare of our members very seriously. All our coaches are fully qualified through British Gymnastics, and supported by our club Welfare Officer, Helen Law. All our coaches are Routinely DBS checked (formally CRB). As a club we adopt and follow the British Gymnastics Child Protection Policy and British Gymnastics Equity Policy, both of which can be found on the British Gymnastics Website.

You can contact Helen either via the Contact form, or you can email directly welfare@aquila-tc.co.uk.

How to find us

Swindon Academy, Beech Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1JR

We are fortunate to train out of the newly developed Swindon Academy. The facility includes a large purpose build gymnasium which is joined to the back of the main building. The gym has under-floor heating which is great for the cold winter months, and a very high ceiling with an over-head rig.

When you arrive at the school there is plenty of free parking. Walk to the main entrance and into reception stating you’re with Aquila Trampoline Club. Once through the double doors, head straight through 3 sets of double doors until the corridor turns left into the main gym.
